Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The Applicant is participating in a demonstration of radio equipment at the Naval Postgraduate Schools Joint Interagency Field Experimentation (JIFX) 17-1 program from November 7-11, 2016. JIFX 17-1 will be held at Camp Roberts, Highway 101, Camp Roberts, CA 93451-5000. JIFX enables a diverse group of academics, government labs, private industry, end users, and others to come together to develop and refine new technologies in a field environment. To conduct this demonstration, Applicant must use Wi-Fi equipment with non-standard antennas as well as test LTE equipment. Applicant respectfully request expedited processing thereof. More information about JIFX 17-1 can be obtained at https://my.nps.edu/web/fx/jifx-live. Applicant seeks a short STA to participate in JFIX 17-1, pending the Commissions processing of an application for an experimental license 0076-EX-CN-2016, on the advice of Commission staff.
