Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is required to allow temporary testing of the Fortem R30 radar. Test events will be limited to several hours in duration and a single location at a time.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Evaluation of the Fortem Technologies R30 to determine its capabilities and performance for detecting manned aircraft. The R30 is a candidate to help enable uas operators to ensure they avoid manned aircraft. this test event is focused on evaluating the performance of the radar and its suitability for this purpose.
