Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Camgian Microsystems is under contract with the U.S. Army (contract #W911NF-16-C-0086). Part of the tasking within this contract is to conduct research and development utilizing a battery operated, portable radar system that Camgian has designed (product name is Prowl) for C-band frequency range operation (5604-5924 MHz). The designed center frequency is 5764MHz. As part of this contracted research and development effort, testing of the radar system is required to verify functionality and to validate the signal processing algorithms developed for operation. Camgian is requesting this STA in order to perform those necessary tests.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Camgian intends to operate the Prowl radar unit in the specified locations for underground testing.
