UHS is in charge of the camera, while WHS is in charge of the radio. Each school also handles the paperwork associated with its subsystem, so UHS handles the NOAA application, while WHS handles the IARU application and then coordinates the FCC application with Cal Poly. The primary control station is at Cal Poly. Representatives from WHS and the Cal Poly team will both have the capability to issue the command through the control station to cease transmissions upon request.
