To Operate in the 2200 -2290MHz Telemetry Band and Provide Television Camera Relay in Atlanta, GA.

CP Communications hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to operate in the 2200-
2290 MHz telemetry band pursuant to Section 21.25 of the Commission’s Rules. CP Communications
requests that the Commission grant it temporary authority to operate on the frequencies centered on
2210MHz, 2220MHz, 2230MHz, 2240MHz, 2255MHz, 2265MHz, 2275MHz, and 2285MHz with an 8 MHz
bandwidth from 9/18/2016 with intermittent usage and ceasing operation on 9/27/2016.
As explained below, CP Communications is filing an STA request for the coverage of the NBC Golf Tour
Championship golf event. CP Communications submits that there are extraordinary circumstances
warranting a grant of the STA request.

NBC Sports has contracted CP Communications to provide the necessary Microwave frequencies for the
coverage of this event. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the Atlanta, GA area, coupled with
the added congestion from traditional Television and News coverage of this event, CP Communications
requests the use of channels in the 2200 - 2290 MHz Telemetry Band.

CP Communications certifies that the operation of the requested channel for the purposes specified
herein will not cause interference to any established stations.

Grant of the instant request for STA in the 2.2GHz band would serve the public interest by enabling
CP Communications to supply the requested remote video coverage for this event.
The proposed service would enhance video coverage of the event by providing close up and personal
pictures from mobile locations that would not otherwise be available to the viewer.

Video from this event can be used locally in support of Public Safety.

In accordance with Section 74.633 of the Commission’s Rules, the following is provided:
