    RE: Experimental Authorization (KA2ZXHN)

   Dear Sir or Madan:

COMSAT Corporation herein submits its report on operations
consistent with its KA2XHN experimental authorization.

During the most recent reporting period, COMSAT has
continued to use its wideband mobile experimental authorization
to determine the overall viability of wideband mobile satellite
services in support of the U.S. Navy and other users.

Current and future testing continues to focus on the
emergence of inter—related technologies in such fields as
emergency telemedicine, the development of enhanced gyroscope
stabilizing mechanisms and antenna manufacture. There has been
no report of interference into any lawfully operated radio
station during the period of experimental authorization.

                                   Respectfully submitted,
                                   COMSAT Q?rporation
