In most cases, surrounding buildings and trees are taller than the masts; significant nearby natural features and man-made structures are identified in the STA Form site description. The trailer mast can be raised to 10.7 meters, but the van mast will not exceed 6 meters. The masts on both the trailer and van will be raised only when testing is being conducted. 1
