On behalf of Caterpillar, we wanted to provide an update on the requests for FAA coordination and
AFTRCC coordination.

- FAA Coordination
o Green Valley, Arizona – The FAA issued its determination of no hazard on April 24, 2017.
A copy of the Determination of No Hazard has been emailed directly to you.
o Washington, Illinois – The Form 7460-1 is in a pending/work-in-progress status. We have
requested a status check from the FAA’s processing staff in order to determine whether any
additional information from Caterpillar is required.
- AFTRCC Coordination
o AFTRCC has requested additional information regarding the license renewal application before it
can process the license renewal in connection with the use of the 1435-1525 MHz band. Caterpillar is
gathering the information necessary to respond to AFTRCC’s inquiry.
