The telemetry site is part of a larger system operated by the State which includes but is not limited to WA2ZXAJ, WC2XOB, and WIZXDU. The purpose of thesite is to monitor water level, water temperature, wind speed, and other data for the area. The data is transmitted to the GOES satellite and is collected by the State‘s Department of Water Resources.
