Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of six 2 GHz frequencies. The purpose is to test a new video capture system at the National Hockey League Winter Classic at Busch Stadium St. Louis, MO for the period of December 31, 2016 through January 2, 2017. The units will operate only inside the venue with a maximum ERP of 50 mW. The cameras will be located 1-2 meters above the ice and be capable of capturing video both on the ice as well as in the adjacent stands to enhance crowd safety. This is the same system that the FCC has recently authorized for other NHL venues. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events.
