Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of a number of UHF frequencies to provide public safety and logistical support for the 2017 Western & Southern Open Tennis Tournament between August 12 and August 21, 2017 (including setup and take down). The tournament will be held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, 5460 Courseview Dr. Mason, OH. The number of frequencies and units requested is necessary to allow for the fact that the spectrum is shared with other users therefore not always available and the need to support a large event staff. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events. PLEASE NOTE: This application is to add additional needed frequencies due to equipment limitations to applications filed on July 11 and 25, 2017 - File Numbers 0959-EX-ST-2017 and 1037-EX-ST-2017
