                      FP-23 Technical Description
 TX
1.    Ethernet traffic payload enters the TX side through transceiver interfaces. Ethernet traffic goes into
      the managed Ethernet switch on the Digital board. The Ethernet switch passes the data to the
      framing, coding & configuration circuit.
2.    The framed and coded traffic data is then sent to the SPU board.
3.    The digital traffic data is modulated in the SPU and then Digital to Analog Converted (DAC) ,
      producing the TX IF signal.
4.    The TX IF signal is then passes through a TX IF AGC and is for up-converted and amplified in the
      Radio Frequency Unit (RFU).
5.    The RF TX signal then passes through the Diplexer and out the Antenna.

 RX

1.    The RF Receive signal comes through the antenna and diplexer into the LNA and is down-converted
      to IF Frequency
2.    The RX IF signal then passes through a RX IF AGC amplifier in the RFU.
3.    The RX IF signal is Analog to Digital Converted (ADC) on the SPU and demodulated.
4.    The RX demodulator then outputs the framed and coded data to the DIGITAL board.
5.    The DIGITAL board removes framing and coding and then the traffic then goes to the Ethernet
      switch
6.    The Ethernet traffic payload exits the system via transceiver interfaces.
