A 25kW marine radar (Furuno FR-1525Mk3;
Transceiver module RTR-063) will be used to track
bird and bat activity in areas of existing and
planned wind turbine development as well as
comparative control sites.

The radar will be mounted to a mobile trailer and
operated at a height less than 4 meters above the
ground.
