Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Development and testing of a European version of a wireless intercom for purposes of development of a United States version of the same product. The European model of this DECT wireless intercom cannot be certified in the United States due to the frequency range. The United States version of the product will use a slightly different frequency range.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Development and testing of a European version of a wireless intercom. This is a request for Special Temporary Authority to develop and test, over a six-month period, at two manufacturer locations a Part 15 digital wireless intercom system based on the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) standard using the European DECT frequency range (1880-1900 MHz).
