      Dear Mr. Burlte:

                 Pursuant to Section 5.81 of the Commiussion‘s Rules (Discontinuance of Station
      Operation), BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. is hereby forwarding for cancellation
      the above—referenced station license in the Experimental Radio Service. The license was
      granted January 30, 2001 and would expire February 1, 2002. However, at this time
      BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. is no longer operating any of the transmitters listed
      on the license for its service. Further, BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. has no plans
      to operate transmitters listed on the license in the future. Accordingly, BellSouth
      Telecommunications, Inc. submits the enclosed license for cancellation.
