Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary in order to gather data from our methane detection system. The system is composed of methane sensors and a base station that collects the data via a sub 1G radio link that operates in beacon mode. We wish to operate the radio link at 14dBm rather that at 0dBm. The site obstructions currently hinder the operation at 0dBm

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing beacon mode. We currently have been granted permission to operate our system under FCC ID 2ATKJ-LTBS and 2ATKJ-LTSN for a methane detection system. We currently employ a beacon mode of operation but have found that the TX power of the system will not be good enough for field trials that we wish to conduct. We are going to be conducting field trials in a few remote portions of Colorado and Missouri with a customer for about 6 months. We would like to operate in beacon mode and raise the TX power to 14dBm from 0dBm for the purposes of the test. We are requesting temporary authorization to use beacon mode at 14dBm for 6 months during our field trials.
