----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

Ms. Nguyen:.

This is to confirm - as demonstrated in the emails below - that SiriusXM has consented to BAE Systems'
operation within 2320-2345 MHz under call sign WF2XJH. Please see emails below.

BAE Systems is still working with Globalstar regarding Globalstar's consent with respect to 2483.5
– 2496 MHz - and will notify the Commission once that consent is obtained.

Best regards,

Jeff Rummel

Subject: RE: BAE Systems - Pending Modification Application for WF2XJH - File No. 0100-EX-CM-2018 -
Request for Consent to Operate Within 2320-2345 MHz (SiriusXM)

Jeff,

Sirius XM has reviewed your response and consents to the experimental operations proposed in the
above-referenced application subject to BAE Systems’ compliance with the operational limitations
specified in the bullet points included in your message below. The advance notice to Sirius XM 24 hours
in advance of any BAE Systems operations on the relevant frequencies should be provided to Jim Blitz
and Douglas Ayerst, who are copied on this message.

This email can be provided to the FCC as evidence of Sirius XM’s conditioned consent to the BAE
Systems application.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Karis

Subject: RE: BAE Systems - Pending Modification Application for WF2XJH - File No. 0100-EX-CM-2018 -
Request for Consent to Operate Within 2320-2345 MHz (SiriusXM)

Karis:

Thank you for your reply.

As you know from our past dealings, BAE Systems and I will work with Sirius in detail with respect to the
engineering and operational aspects of this experiment in order to provide assurances to Sirius with
respect to interference, while also allowing BAE Systems to conduct this important experiment.

BAE Systems’ initial reply to your message is set forth below – please advise if there are
any additional issues you think we need to discuss in order to resolve this coordination in a mutually
agreeable manner. As always, we are available to schedule a call to discuss and resolve any remaining
issues.

Initial Responses to issues:

- The operations will be exclusively ground-based.

- To obtain SiriusXM’s consent, BAE Systems is willing to reduce the ERP for the
experiment on the affected frequencies. Initial review by BAE Systems indicates that a reduction of the
ERP from 2000W to 200W would still permit completion of the experiment.

- The antenna deployed for this experiment will be directional and will be pointed down and away
from main roads. The testing area is in wooded area which is naturally blocked with trees and shrubs.

- Actual use of the affected frequencies would be minimal. Specifically, the affected frequencies
will not be tested on unless specifically asked for by BAE Systems’ customer and testing is not
expected to occur for longer than 5 minutes in duration for any individual event, and such testing would
occur only to validate that BAE Systems can transmit RF in the affected frequencies.

- BAE Systems is willing to notify SiriusXM prior to operation on the affected frequencies at least
24 hours in advance. Should no objection be received within that period prior to the operations, BAE
Systems would proceed with the operations.

- Testing in this area of the spectrum will occur mostly on the 2.2 to 2.3 GHz range –
outside of the area of concern - and only using about 65MHz on bandwidth

- Due to restrictions specified by the Navy customer, an antenna pattern is not available to provide

in this context – however, if additional technical information is needed, please advise.

BAE Systems trusts that these factors will help mitigate concerns, however, if any additional issues
remain, please let me know and we can schedule a call to further fashion an agreeable arrangement.

Best regards,

Jeff
