                                                                                    Exhibit
       1. Introduction

By the instant application ("Application"), BAE Systems Controls Inc. ("BAE Systems")
requests that the Commission grant a 2 year experimental license to permit BAE Systems to
operate the facilities (the "Facilities") specified in the instant application.

       2. Purpose of the Operation

These temporary fixed ground—based transmissions, an extension of the operations
initially authorized under STA (WIOXNE) in order to address continued production deliveries
through 2017, are intended to support BAE Systems‘ manufacture of radar units in support of
prior granted contracts with Navy — NAVICP and other potential future contracts. Contract
information is available from: Robert Delaney, BAE Systems, Electronic Systems, Survivability
and Targeting Systems, 323—642—5014, bob.delaney@baesystems.com.

Waiver of the Station ID rules set forth at Section 5.115 is respectfully requested.

       3. Directionality

A "No" reply has been inserted with respect to the question "Is a directional antenna
(other than radar) used?" because the transmitter is a radar device. For the purposes of full
disclosure, however, the following additional directionality information is provided:

                Bearnwidth — E—Plane 15+1°
Sidelobe Level — E—Plane Less than 12 dB
                Beamwidth — H—Plane 71°
Sidelobe Level — H—Plane Less than 12 dB
                Squint Angle — E—Plane 0° |
                Squint Angle — H—Plane 7°

       4. Prevention of Interference

With respect to mitigation of potential interference, the equipment will typically be used
for short period of time — less than 15 minutes at a time and during regular working hours — M—F
— 7AM to 5PM.

       5. 24/7 Stop Buzzers
