Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is required for outdoor/over-the-air product development testing of Grid Net's WiMAX SmartMeter product within the BRS 2.5 GHz frequency band. This product testing is being performed in conjunction with Sprint Nextel, the spectrum license holder in the requested areas. The WiMAX SmartMeter is being developed to support advanced electric power utility network automation.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing the WiMAX SmartMeter product. A 2.5GHz Motorola DAP 400 WiMAX Base Station and up-to 50 WiMAX SmartMeters will be operated within a testbed network to support the outdoor/over-the-air secure connection and testing of the WiMAX SmartMeter product.
