Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We are presently testing operation of our point to point radio in the presence of interference under expermental license # 0049-EX-PL-2004. This is the 2400 - 2483.5 MHz band. It is our understanding that 2450 - 2483.5 MHz is also a licensed band that can operate under the rules of Part 101. While operating in this frequency range, we would like to turn our transmitter up by about 9 dB to see if this will improve our receivers tolerance to interference.
