INTENDED TESTING

We are attempting to use our point to point radio in the place of existing spread spectrum radios. The
spread spectrum radios for this particular customer do not operate well in the presence of interference. We
believe that our point to point radio will not be as susceptible to interference because of our narrow band
characteristics. We plan to test as follows:

• Measure interference within the 2400 – 2483.5 MHz band by connecting a spectrum analyzer
to the existing receive antenna port.
• Install the MDR-8000 radio and operate it at the frequency of minimal interference. We will
test to see if the radio will run error free.
• We will then operate the radio closer to the frequency of maximum interference to understand
how much interference we can tolerate. This should be a real world measurement of C/I.
