Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is to perform a short term test of 71-76, 81-86GHz point to point links outside of the current fixed link licensing rules. The experimental use cases to be tested include operation of the far end link equipment on a moving marine vessel at sea. The results from these short term tests are planned to feed into the design of a long term test system. This subsequent test may be subject to a further experimental test license application.
