                                         EXHIBIT I

Applicant seeks a special temporary authorization for a 1 week operational experimental license
to conduct a fixed demonstration at the Texas Wireless Summit, October 15-22, 2016, in the
27500-28500 MHz frequency band. The indoor demonstration will be conducted at the Edgar A.
Smith Building, 200 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Austin, TX, 78701. Applicant’s
demonstration and the expected experimental equipment would support potential fifth generation
(5G) multi-gigabyte per second (Gbps) applications for fixed and mobile wireless
communication networks at higher transmission rates and lower latency than is currently
available. Applicant seeks authority to begin conducting these demonstration to allow for trials
before the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 5G standards are finalized in the 2018-2019
time period.

Applicant’s proposed demonstrations would involve base stations that would transmit signals to
and receive signals from experimental equipment located on fixed stations and within 50m.
Applicant’s technical request for the frequency band is summarized as follows:
