Experimental Purpose.

The purpose of this experimental license is to test various FM antennas in the
mountainous terrain of Virginia to see how Horizontal, Vertical, and Circular
Polarization affects radio station reception including testing under various weather and
seasons.

It may be that horizontal polarity is actually a hindrance to mobile FM reception in hilly
terrain. We have done numerous searches on the Internet and found nothing that states
whether CP is helpful or not other than a very brief statement by the BBC on testing in a
fairly flat terrain.
