Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is needed to permit experimental activity to begin in Eastern Pennsylvania starting approximately September 25, 2006. This is expected to allow completion of the initial phase of propagation testing before results are significantly affected by loss of foliage and change of season. Recent propagation testing near Cherryville, New Jersey, under license WD2XDQ, indicated that it would be beneficial to take data at a somewhat greater range than previously anticipated. Since the receiving location will soon be moved from Cherryville to Hamilton Square, this STA is being submitted to request authority for test transmissions from areas in neighboring Pennsylvania. In addition, in anticipation of additional experimentation in Western New Jersey, all Eastern Pennsylvania counties bordering New Jersey are included. Transmissions from test equipment will comply with Part 27 out-of-band emission limits.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Various propagation tests which will assist AT&T in the design and deployment of commercial systems. The requested STA is intended to authorize various propagation tests which will assist AT&T in the design and deployment of commercial systems.
