Station Identification
AT&T respectfully requests exemption from the provisions of Section 5.115, Station
Identification. This is required because the periodic identification requirement could
interfere with objectives of the testing, particularly where long intervals of uninterrupted
transmission are required, for example in bit error rate testing and slow-fading
propagation testing. In addition, the broadband commercial equipment has no provision
for station identification.
