Experimental License WD2XPJ

In support of our experimental efforts under license WD2XPJ, AT&T desires to transmit
unmodulated carriers at various locations in the downtown Atlanta and Alpharetta, GA, areas for a
limited period of time. Under our interpretation of the FCC Rules (Title 47 CFR), Part 5, paragraph
5.77 (b), we believe this is permissible. The carriers would be located in the 3400MHz to
3600MHz region of spectrum covered under experimental license WD2XPJ and be at or below the
Effective Radiated Power (ERP) limit of 100 Watts also specified in the license. All other
provisions of the experimental license will also be followed, such as avoidance of harmful
interference and prior co-ordination with APCO and the SBE. The unmodulated carrier
transmissions will be made on an intermittent basis to support various propagation measurements
over the course of approximately one month beginning in late July 2005.
