The purpose of Over—The—Air (OTA) testing is to verify LTE performance in mobile
environment, optimize system settings under various environments. Gain knowledge
about mobile user experience, provide insight to commercial deployment.
Customer scenario tests will use the two—three cells over the air eNB sites between Lisle
and Naperville to perform handoffs using predefined drive paths.
The following tables contain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be verified in the
OTA test. KPIs such as Attach Success Rate, Paging Success Rate, Handover Success
Rate, are to be monitored in OTA tests. It is not practical in the OTA environment to run
enough test repetitions that can provide significant statistics to verify these KPIs, so only
abnormal phenomenon are to be noted.
