Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Pursuant to 47 C.F.R. sect;5.54(a)(2), an extension of its STA is necessary but the applicant expects that its program will last no more than six months.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The applicant currently is the Grantee (code: 2AAXV) of authorized and certified equipment (FCC identifier: 2AAXVTNTMOD1). The instant request for Special Temporary Authority seeks authority to experiment, develop equipment, obtain operational data, conduct field testing and perform calibration for a period of less than 6 additional months. The foregoing operations will be conducted pursuant to 47 C.F.R. §§ 5.3(a) and (j). The public interest will be served by grant of this application as it will allow highly controlled experimentation and development - - completely on privately owned property - - to refine the use of the radio spectrum that is employed by the equipment.
