Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Testing for proof of concept of transmission and reception of digital audio and video stream via special receivers for fans on site at automobile racing events. The system would allow attendees at automobile racing events to follow the race, improving spectators overall experiences at automobile racing venues. The system uses an 8 megahertz bandwith in the band 474-698 MHz and frequencies in that range are not available for licensing in the United States. This system is being tested for international deployment. It is not, as configured, envisioned for permanent deployment in the United States.
