Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
3g Wireless LLC is filing an STA request to provide terrestrial video links for FOX Sports Sunday Night Football. 3g Wireless LLC submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request. FOX Sports has contracted 3g Wireless LLC to provide the necessary microwave links for RF video paths. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the the NFL Stadiums and surrounding area, coupled with the added congestion from traditional Television and News coverage of special events in the area 3g Wireless LLC requests the use of a channel in the 2295MHz Telemetry Band.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
To provide terrestrial video links for FOX Sports Sunday Night Football. 3g Wireless LLC hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to operate in at 2295 MHz telemetry band, pursuant to Section 21.25 of the Commission’s Rules. 3g Wireless LLC would submit for frequencies centered on 2295.000 MHz with a 8MHz bandwidth from October 18, 2020with intermittent usage and ceasing operation on December 31, 2020.
