Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Vector Launch is developing a small satellite launch vehicle. Vector will downlink telemetry from the vehicle. An STA is required to authorize these transmissions. This application is for a launch vehicle. Frequency request is made in accordance with FCC table of frequency allocations note US276. The RF activity for the flight will last less than 3 hours.

This launch will demonstrate launch capability for the Vector-R B1 and B2 series flights.
