Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We would like to conduct an experiment to evaluate the performance of our proposed algorithm in a GPS Spoofing defense research project. We want to test over the air in GPS L1 band for civilian use. We want to test whether our algorithm can successfully detect arrival angles of GPS spoofing signals in general case.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Experiments will be performed in a fully underground basement without windows in a stone building. The underground room in the building has excellent shielding effect, where no cellular signals can be received. We will general GPS signals using USRP N210 and HackRF One. The power of output signal will be limited to 5 dBm. Then we will use our mobile phone and laptop to receive the signals and analyze them.
