Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant wishes to conduct a short-term, terrestrial technical demonstration and proof of concept testing for the South Carolina Air/Army National Guard (SCANG) by invitation of SCANG to demonstrate the use of a mobile (MANET) network during a period of six days in the area of Waterree River near Eastover, SC within a radius of 8 miles. The communications system is not yet equipment authorized and the frequency range is not available for unlicensed or licensed, non-government operation. See attached Narrative.
