Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The purpose is to test the capability of two-way communication between a relatively small remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) and a ground data terminal, using radios with multi-input multi-output (MIMO) technology. GA-ASI needs to add two testing sites to the same experiment described in 0312-EX-CN-2026.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
This is a new secure line-of-sight MIMO system operating between low-profile RPAs and ground station. The communications facilities requested are necessary to test the range and quality for missions envisioned. There are no such communication facilities adequate to conduct this experiment.
