Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of 4 frequency pairs for the purpose of providing support, security and logistics communications for the World Endurance Championship (WEC) racing event at the Circuit of the Americas Race Track, Austin, TX, from July 26 through September 6, 2026 (covers setup, practice runs and the actual event). The specific frequencies being requested are needed to be compatible with the equipment normally used in conjunction with this type of event. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is the minimum to satisfy the needs of this activity. This taking into consideration that all frequencies may not always be available due to other users.
