Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The proposed experiment fulfills requirements for work supported by the Department of the Air Force under Air Force Contract No. FA8702-15-D-0001. MIT Lincoln Laboratory is developing technology to improve the performance and protection of microwave band data links. For a successful transition to the warfighter, the developed technology needs to be tested and demonstrated in over-the-air tests.
