This operation is a non-recurring service where regular authorization is not appropriate and is to be conducted through the requested dates. This demo will be to a NASA will evaluate these devices to develop a system for CUAS applications. Because approval of the proposed license will contribute to the development of new technology, the proposed license is consistent with the public interest.

This operation is a non-recurring service where regular authorization is not appropriate. Operation Description: The applicant proposes to test up to four (4) devices pursuant to this requested license. The applicant, partner NASA will use these devices to develop and evaluate a system for UAS and general aviation aircraft detection. The demo will consist of tracking UAS flown by CFR 14 part 107 certified pilots and inheritance to part 107 regulations. No directed energy / RF jamming /electronic attacks will occur. NASA spectrum office had approve the demonstration and requested an STA from the FCC. The applicant will develop a set of guidelines, including those addressing compliance with FCC requirements and conditions.
