Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA uses information from grant 1805-EX-ST-2025 and is necessary to authorize Dragon capsule communications for upcoming SpaceX Dragon missions to the International Space Station and recovery operations. Trajectory data shall be provided directly to NTIA, USAF, and NASA. All downrange Earth stations are receive-only. SpaceX will pre-coordinate individual launches under this STA directly with the Launch Range and relevant federal spectrum users. Launch licensing authority is FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation.
