Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
STA is requested for final pre-launch spacecraft antenna and communication payload testing of ORBCOMM Generation 2 NGSO satellites at Cape Canaveral prior to integration with the Space X Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Te sting entails on-ground low power operation of satellite transceivers, including satellite downlink transmitters in close proximity (1 meter) to gateway earth station transceiver simulator using FCC authorized ORBCOMM feederlink frequencies.
