Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
ARTEMIS is working with Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) North and JIATF South to run an experiment in which the ARTEMIS SlimSAR radar system will be operated from a high-altitude weather balloon near Key West, Florida. The STA will enable ARTEMIS to fully test and demonstrate the system as part of the experiment. The opportunity exists to further test the system over various parts of the United States as the balloon floats from Key West to South Dakota.
