Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A large volume of VHF and UHF and microwave communications are necessary for operational, security and video production purposes during this fourth Formula One Automobile Race at the race venue in Austin, Texas. During the qualifying events and the race itself, large numbers of race teams from Europe and other parts of the world will be bringing their equipment to the race track for video production and for operational communications. Sufficient frequencies for this purpose cannot be obtained through the Commissions licensing process, though the applicant is a licensee of the Commission in the LP Auxiliary, LTTS and Land Mobile Radio Services. As explained in the attached narrative, this STA application is virtually identical to those granted in November of 2012,2013 and 2014 for this event.
