Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
FCL Tech requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to test various applications using 42 MHz of contiguous TV White Spaces (TVWS) spectrum at 506-548 MHz that the TVWS database shows as unavailable. The purported unavailability of the spectrum in the TVWS database may be due to the conservative nature of the model that was applied; actual rooftop spectrum measurements indicate that this spectrum is available at the testing location. FCL Tech will take all necessary steps to prevent any harmful interference to other users, including ceasing operations should any harmful interference occur.
