Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
By having an STA, we will be able to conduct short term experiments using the Silvus radios to fulfill requirements for work supported by the Department of the Air Force under Air Force Contract No. FA8701-15-D-0001. We hope to conduct 5-6 tests over the next 6 months in an urban area.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
These radios would support the networking infrastructure of a system used to detect and track targets in an urban environment using sensors located in multiple locations. The radios will be brought in for the days of the tests, used for a few hours, and then returned to our office, so they will not be operating 24/7 during the period of the STA.
