Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The customer is looking to set up a network for machine to machine data communications in Albemarle, North Carolina. They have tried existing unlicensed wireless technologies but these have failed due to line of sight issues (e.g. trees and buildings). They can see that white space radio devices are more likely to work because of superior propagation in the TV band. They would like to try Neul white space radio equipment to see if this can make the links required. Neul white space radios obey the FCC rules for secondary access to the TV band but they have not yet been formally certified, hence the request for a temporary license.
