Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is necessary in order to permit the applicant to conduct video production operations at events in Southern California from the Goodyear Blimp related to the Rose Bowl and Rose Parade on January 1, 2011. Normal video production activities in authorized LTTS bands pursuant to Goodyear licenses cannot be conducted due to overcrowding by licensed broadcast auxiliary and CARS licensees in this market.

The purpose of this STA is to permit video production from the Goodyear Blimp, including video transmissions from the blimp to production trucks located at the site of several events, including a college football game at the Los Angeles Coliseum; the Rose Bowl parade in Los Angeles, and the Rose Bowl college football games in accordance with the schedule attached as an exhibit.
