Special Temporary Authority application - Initial values - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of this test is a proof-of-concept to relay simulated sonobuoy data emitted from a ground base station to an airborne aircraft. The aircraft will then relay this information to a ground control facility for post processing of simulated sonobuoy data. This effort is a lead up test event / risk reduction prior to relaying real sonobuoy data from the SCORE range to a ground control laboratory via an manned aircraft platform.
