Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Parallel Wireless seeks to perform a demonstration of a network system cellular base station in the Band 14 public safety LTE band. Parallel Wireless’s existing Special Temporary Authorities do not cover the area and dates of the demonstration. The demonstration will take place at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, during the specified dates. The IWCE is an annual convention for two-way radio manufacturers to showcase their latest products and services in hardware, networks, applications, interoperability and integration in the communications industry.

Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The objective of this demonstration is to showcase the network capabilities in the Band 14 public safety LTE band. The demonstration will take place at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, during the specified dates. IWCE is an annual exhibition for public safety communications that involves public safety agencies, service providers, and equipment vendors. The demonstration will utilize two CWS-210 from Parallel Wireless that provide Band 14 LTE coverage. Using handsets, we will demonstrate voice and data over this Band 14 network. All of the CWS will be fixed to a location inside the event facilities in Las Vegas, NV. There is no mission-critical aspect to this particular demonstration.
