Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of eight 2 GHz frequencies. The purpose is to test a new video capture system at the National Hockey League Stadium Series event at Heinz Field Pittsburgh, PA for the period of February 22, 2017 through February 25, 2017 (including setup and testing). The units will operate only inside the venue with a maximum ERP of 50 mW. The cameras will be typically located 1-2 meters above the ice and be capable of capturing video both on the ice as well as in the adjacent stands to enhance crowd safety. This is the same system that the FCC has recently authorized for other NHL venues. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events.
