Special Temporary Authority application - Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Federated Wireless is seeking to demonstrate the capability of 5G wireless equipment to operate in the 37 GHz band in support of the Marine Force Storage Command smart warehouse project. Given that the rules for the use of the 37.0-37.6 GHz band on a shared basis are not yet finalized, an STA is needed to support the over-the-air demonstration. We are asking for the full range from 37.0-38.6 GHz to ensure that equipment will be available in time to meet the Marine Corps project deadlines.
